The other day Patrick J. Keane dashed off 10,000 words on Wordsworth's daffodils and sent them to me wondering if I might want them for Numéro Cinq --- 10,000 words that he whimsically calls "a few contextual elements" relating to the poem starting with Dorothy Wordsworth's journal entry (see facsimile page below) on the day she and her brother saw the daffodils and ending with Immanuel Kant's immortal line about the starry heavens and the moral law.
